Old Town
Bordered by McKinley Avenue, National City Boulevard, 24th Street and 8th Street, this self-identified historic core is where Frank Kimball built the county's first modern house and later Brick Row, the 1887 housing he constructed for railroad workers.

Lincoln Acres
An unincorporated San Diego County community that sits entirely surrounded by National City's boundaries and shares the same 91950 postal code despite never having been annexed into the city.

Mile of Cars
The National Avenue corridor that once catered to sailors from Naval Base San Diego as the "Mile of Bars" was deliberately redeveloped into an automobile-dealership district in the late 20th century, closing its last Pussycat Theater in 1999.

Published cost and financing inputs
Use the facts the local samples establish. A monthly payment or ownership total requires the property, loan, tax bill, insurance quote and your own reserves.

The Ghost Listing Report
Portals can’t show a home’s failed past listings. Every prior listing attempt, price cut, withdrawal, expiration and relist — run it free on any National City address.

The same eye, as an actual inspection
Reading a listing from the desk is not an inspection. When you are under contract, the house still has to be walked — roof to slab, by an inspector.
