The week in El Monte
What moved, what dropped and what changed hands in El Monte, read the way an inspector reads a house.
The El Monte file →The largest reduction on the desk was 11433 Stewart Street — down $29,988, from $719,888 to $689,900, listed by Realty Network.
13 listings changed status: 5 active under contract, 4 sold, 3 pending, 1 back on market. The brokerage on every row below is the listing brokerage on the record, not ours.
6 homes came to market, asking from $89,950 to $1,398,000.
That is the week, address by address. What any one of these rows means for a house on the same street is the question the file answers next.

NeighbourhoodDowntown
El Monte's civic core along Valley Boulevard holds City Hall and, a few blocks east on Santa Anita Avenue, Santa Fe Trail Historical Park — dedicated in 1989 on the site the city has marked as a California Historic Landmark commemorating the trail's 1850s western terminus.
NeighbourhoodAuto District
The North Peck Road corridor has anchored car sales since Dominic Longo opened a small storefront dealership here in 1967; Longo Toyota became the nation's top-volume Toyota store in its first year and still operates from the same stretch of Peck Road.
