The week in Thousand Oaks
What moved, what dropped and what changed hands in Thousand Oaks, read the way an inspector reads a house.
The Thousand Oaks file →The largest reduction on the desk was 1660 Cross Bridge Place — down $205,000, from $2,200,000 to $1,995,000, listed by Coldwell Banker Realty.
25 listings changed status: 12 sold, 5 pending, 4 active under contract, 2 coming soon. The brokerage on every row below is the listing brokerage on the record, not ours.
25 homes came to market, asking from $229,950 to $3,800,000.
That is the week, address by address. What any one of these rows means for a house on the same street is the question the file answers next.

NeighbourhoodNewbury Park
Once its own stagecoach-route settlement built around Egbert Starr Newbury's 1874 land purchase, most of Newbury Park was unincorporated county land annexed into Thousand Oaks through the late 1960s and 1970s; it now makes up roughly 40 percent of the city's total land area, more than any other district.
NeighbourhoodDos Vientos
A 2,350-unit master-planned development in westernmost Newbury Park approved by the Thousand Oaks City Council in April 1988, built over a former ranch whose two 1930s barns are Ventura County Historical Landmark No. 99 and City of Thousand Oaks Landmark No. 6.
