The week in Paramount
What moved, what dropped and what changed hands in Paramount, read the way an inspector reads a house.
The Paramount file →The largest reduction on the desk was 15013 Indiana — down $99,000, from $1,699,000 to $1,600,000, listed by New Star Realty & Investment.
9 listings changed status: 4 pending, 2 back on market, 2 active under contract, 1 sold. The brokerage on every row below is the listing brokerage on the record, not ours.
2 homes came to market, asking from $245,000 to $729,999.
That is the week, address by address. What any one of these rows means for a house on the same street is the question the file answers next.

NeighbourhoodDowntown / Civic Center
Built around the Hay Tree, a camphor tree planted in 1883 in the old town of Hynes and designated California Historic Landmark No. 1038 in 2003; hay traders gathered under it each morning from 1930 to 1960 to set a price quoted on the New York and Chicago markets.
NeighbourhoodClearwater
Founded in 1886-87 by the California Cooperative Colony Tract Company as a dairy-and-hay settlement, Clearwater merged with neighboring Hynes in 1948 to form Paramount; the name still identifies a district on local real-estate listing sites today.
